2004 RAEME PORT

2004 RAEME
CRAFTMAN’ S PORT

Order Form

This years RAEME Corp Port which is proudly co-produced by Aviation Support
Group Workshop (ASGW) and Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintenance School (RAMS), both
situated in Qld.

For those of you who aren’t aware, each year RAEME produces a Port, which is
distributed to RAEME personnel countrywide. The proceeds go towards the Corp
funds which help sponsor events, birthday functions and awards such as the RAEME
CFN of the year award.

The POC for this years Corp Port is either WO2 John Duggan or myself (LT Rick
Watling). Our e-mail addresses are listed below: [email protected]
[email protected]

If you aren’t a member of the RAEME Corp please reply stating this and I will
delete you from further mailing lists. If you are a member of RAEME,
congratulations, I have been given your name as a representative for various
Units or regions around the country. Your role will be in sending out fliers to
your Units, being a point of contact for the Unit, collection of moneys for the
Port and distribution within your respective Units once the Port arrives. Don’t
worry, it isn’t as time consuming as you think! I am aware that for some of you,
you are the only RAEME personnel in your Unit (or one of only a few) so your job
will be very easy. The reason for contacting all RAEME carrying Units is to
ensure widest possible dissemination throughout the Corp.

I have attached a flier that will be the starting point for all of you in
advertising the Corp Port this year. It will also be used as an order form to be
distributed Unit wide. Please print out colour copies to use as posters around
the area (A3 and A4) and run off multiples of black and white copies for people
to individually order from. Please insert your name in the POC line before
photocopying so that the forms are returned to yourselves prior to placing the
order through me.

The deadline for placing orders will be Friday 17 September so get out there
and start advertising and collecting monies.

There is a web page that WO1 Dean Ellis has created for the South Australian
region. You can access it, and if possible, have him make a few changes to
include multiple regions/Units for selling the port. Whichever way works best
for you, so long as the below account gets credited in the end. He has it
configured so that when an order is submitted, it sends the details of the buyer
to his e-mail. The web address is as follows:

In previous years, we have found the best way to receive the order forms is
with the money up front, to ensure you aren’t chasing people for monies come
delivery date. We have an account set up with Australian Defence Credit Union
with the following details for transferring of funds into: Name of Bank: ADCU
Account Name: RAEME CORP PORT

Branch: OAKEY 4401
BSB No: 802 397
Account No: 672 713

How we will work ordering and transferring of funds:

1. Disseminate order forms with the POC name down the bottom throughout the
Units/regions. 2. Forms are returned to the POC along with money. 3. POC creates
a simple spreadsheet with names and quantity ordered, paid/unpaid and any other
details to keep track of who has ordered. 4. POC deposits money into an account
they have made for the Corp port or they transfer it in a lump sum to the RAEME
CORP PORT bank account stated above through a branch transaction. The easiest
way is to create an account with ADCU/DEFCREDIT and deposit directly into it as
order forms come in. Then withdraw a cheque or electronic transfer once all
orders are in and send to RAEME CORP PORT account above. 5. POC sends an e-mail
to LT Watling and WO2 Duggan stating whom the money has come from (POC name,
Unit/Region), and for how many bottles. 6. LT Watling and WO2 Duggan e-mail the
POC to confirm the money has entered the account, and it is recorded on our
database. 7. LT Watling and WO2 Duggan place a final order to the wine maker and
the port is then delivered to the Units.

Please start advertising through as many avenues as possible to ensure all
RAEME personnel are reached. I will be sending more e-mails to follow-up on
Unit/regions progress in the future.

Don’t hesitate to ask if there are any unclear points with the above e-mail,
or if any further information is required.
