Webmaster,
Given the length of this html page now, I think its about time to archive some of the messages. Maybe you could break them into quarters and put them on the history page, which is accessible if needed.
The reason I suggest this is as the page gets longer, it takes longer to download and the older messages become irrelevant.

Hi Paul,
It would seem that this is at least the correct forum in which to have a go at CJ, both you and the webmaster are at it.
And Paul, this is probably the best area for looking for anything, except a girl, we don’t do that, and if there is anyone out there willing to pass on their older RAEME badges, this is the place to ask. I do wish you well, as I think you will find that those of ‘US’ with them, ‘WE’ won’t part with them, but good hunting. And as for your hobbies, I would say beer drinking was up the top of your list, if ANZAC Day is any thing to go by !!

Ex RAEME (appie)Alan Nelson is Ill.
I have been informed by Alan’s wife that he is very ill with cancer and is being cared for at his home in NSW by his family. Any ex-appie or RAEME member who knows Alan could send a message or give him a call. I am sure that he and his family would appreciate the gesture.
Details of Alan’s address will be forwarded by contacting me, Don McLeod, via E-Mail. [email protected].

Houston we have a problem!
There is a glitch printing off the membership application pages. The form prints over two pages and not centered. This seems to be an issue converting Mr Jones’s beloved Publisher files to web pages. A fix will be forthcoming ASAP. In the meantime, please complete the on-line form.

Hi all out there,I’m not sure if this is the right forum for this kind of request
but if it’s not i’m sure CJ will advise.
Regardless of what you may have been told, drinking beer is not my primary hobby
it’s woodwork, and oft times after finishing something I like to decorate it with
a badge of some sort, for instance a serviette holder finished with a rosewood
colour and adorned with a RAEME badge looks great.
trouble is I have run out of badges and i’m not real keen on the gilt cheap and
nasties I can buy at Christies so the point of all this is to ask if any of you
guys have any “real” RAEME or Apprentices School badges that are just gathering
dust in the bottom draw and would like to get rid of them. If so could you get
in touch with me on 0417 419 253,Any condition will do except if they have been
hit with a “shifter, a 5/8×11/16” Ringie or a knockometer
Regards to all Paul Martyn-Jones
Hi Paul,
I seem to remember you ‘holding forth’ from the corner where you were sitting, even to the young Irish lass behind the bar, whom you told that she was ‘Scotish’, that’s a good way to win freinds. And speaking of friends, some of those there are not members of this Association, so print off some ‘application forms’, and hand them around. See you soon.

Hi Craig,
It would appear that everybody is too scared to see their names in print, so I will start the ball rolling, and say you are doing a great job, and keep up the good work. It is much improved on the previous format.
